Memorial Day

I’m doing a demo booth this year at the Rose Festival on Memorial day. That is, tomorrow. In about 12 hours. It’s going to be a lot of fun, esp. because I’m going to be there with a group of potters from my studio. Yeay!

Now, I really should get some sleep.

So I promised that I’d share some of the great potters I found at the Ceramic Showcase. First up is Mr. Charles Gluskoter

Slab built lantern.

His glazes were really gnarly textury things, and his style made you feel like you were looking at artifacts. Its not hard to imagine that his work come from some ancient civilization some where. If I had the money, I would have one of his pieces right now.
