So the class went well. I had to repeat myself several times so I’m left wondering about my ability to communicate. Was I really that confusing or were people not listening? Or am I just so used to Ceramic speak that I’m being impatient with people who haven’t learned the language? Anyhow, I just repeated myself several times till they got it, didn’t need to make a big deal out of it to them.

Still, I learn every time different things. Like check your syllabus before class so that you’re aware of the BIG typo. -_-‘ I’m totally rewriting the syllabus for the class after this anyhow, to incorporate what I’ve learned.

In the mean time, playing with these things that I don’t really use that much (engobes and slips) has given me some cool ideas. Like using an engobe before going mad with texture, to create a visual explosion.

Ok, so I have no idea how to describe what I’m seeing in my head, but its cool! I promise!
